Odaily Odaily reported that the Bitcoin network completed its 15th difficulty adjustment of the year at block height 959,616, with mining difficulty decreasing by approximately 0.74%. So far in 2026, the network has seen 9 downward adjustments and 6 upward adjustments.
Since the beginning of 2026, Bitcoin mining difficulty has dropped from 146.47 trillion to 126.23 trillion, a decrease of 13.82%. Over the same period, Bitcoin's price has fallen 26% from January 1st; the estimated daily revenue per PH/s of hashrate (hashprice) has decreased from $37.39 to $32.21.
