Binance's market share rises to 35.34%, Q2 crypto exchange total trading volume decreases 8% quarter-on-quarter

According to a recent report by TokenInsight, the total trading volume of crypto exchanges in the second quarter of 2026 decreased by 8% quarter-on-quarter to $16.5 trillion. Spot trading volume recovered from $3.3 trillion to $4.5 trillion, while derivatives trading volume fell from $14.6 trillion to $12.0 trillion, with the derivatives share dropping from 82% to 73%. In terms of overall market share, Binance's share increased from 32.77% to 35.34%, recording the largest quarterly gain.
