In the forex market, the USD/CNH exchange rate rose 0.03% intraday to 6.77679. The USD/JPY exchange rate rose 0.41% intraday to 163.779.
Regarding global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 (EUSTX50) fell 1.48% intraday to 6,201.25 points; the UK FTSE 100 (UK100) fell 0.79% intraday to 10,613.6 points; and the German DAX 40 (GER40) fell 1.57% intraday to 24,738.2 points.
In commodities, WTI crude oil rose 3.87% intraday to $91.61 per barrel. Brent crude oil rose 2.97% intraday to $94.88 per barrel.
