2026-07-23 12:15

Odaily reported that the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) held a conference on Party building and regulatory work. The meeting emphasized deepening reforms to enhance the inclusiveness and adaptability of the system, implementing various measures for comprehensive investment and financing reforms, and better leveraging the functions of the stock, fund, bond, and futures markets. It also stressed strict supervision to maintain market "fairness, openness, and transparency," cracking down on major violations, improving the quality and efficiency of regulatory enforcement, strictly investigating and punishing illegal activities such as financial fraud, insider trading, and market manipulation, strengthening supervision over new types of businesses, and advancing the application of artificial intelligence in regulation.

The meeting emphasized supporting superior enterprises and restricting inferior ones to promote listed companies' improvement and strengthening. It called for further consolidating the comprehensive system for preventing and punishing financial fraud, making greater efforts to promote standardized governance of listed companies, continuously releasing the vitality of mergers and acquisitions, and launching more typical cases. It also stressed promoting the high-quality development of industry institutions in a hierarchical and categorized manner, perfecting the "1+N+X" regulatory system for securities companies, accelerating the implementation of a package of measures to promote the standardized development of fund companies, issuing regulations for futures companies as soon as possible, and vigorously promoting the standardized and healthy development of private funds. Furthermore, the meeting emphasized preventing problems before they occur and firmly guarding the bottom line of risks in key areas, resolutely maintaining the safety and stability of the capital market's financial infrastructure, and focusing on preventing and resolving risks related to bond defaults by financing platforms and real estate companies. Seventh, it called for steadily and orderly deepening the two-way opening of the capital market and further strengthening cross-border regulatory cooperation. (Jinshi)
