Foreign Media: Intel and AMD Plan to Sign Long-Term CPU Supply Agreements with Major Chinese Server Clients

Odaily reported that as server processor prices continue to rise, Intel and AMD are signing longer-term data center CPU procurement agreements with Chinese server clients. These agreements typically lock in procurement volumes but not prices, with most supply contracts lasting about one year. Some clients are discussing procurement commitments of two years or longer.

The report states that server CPU prices in China are still rising, with some products seeing monthly increases of over 10%. Since the beginning of this year, cumulative price increases have exceeded 40%. (Reuters)
