Transfer volume surged over 170 times, monthly tokenized stock transfer volume reached $9.22 billion in June

Odaily Planet Daily reported that a16z crypto stated that the monthly transfer volume of tokenized stocks reached $9.22 billion in June this year, an increase of more than 170 times compared to $53 million in June last year. This metric measures all on-chain activities, including transactions, transfers between wallets, and deposits of collateral into DeFi protocols.

a16z crypto pointed out that compared to the traditional stock market with monthly trading volumes in the trillions of dollars, the scale of the tokenized stock market is still relatively small. However, an increasing number of issuers and platforms are launching tokenized stocks.
