According to Odaily, driven by the overnight strength of US tech stocks, South Korea's semiconductor sector saw significant gains in early trading on the 22nd. As of 8:11 AM Beijing time, Samsung Electronics rose 5.79% to 274,000 KRW; SK Hynix rose 8.50%, briefly touching 2,000,000 KRW for the first time since July 15.

On Wall Street overnight, NVIDIA rose 1.97% as its next-generation AI server platform, Vera Rubin, has entered mass production and begun shipments to key customers. Micron surged 12.17%, and Broadcom rose 2.21%, driving the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index up 5.21%. Additionally, SK Hynix's ADR jumped 13.75% overnight to close at $171.94.

In terms of fund flows, foreign investors recorded net purchases of 717.6 billion KRW in South Korea's electrical and electronics sector, while individual investors and institutional investors recorded net sales of 370.6 billion KRW and 345.8 billion KRW, respectively.
