Unrealized profit of nearly $160,000: A whale re-enters long position on Intel ahead of earnings report

According to monitoring by Odaily Planet Daily and Hyperinsight, the "US Stock Trading King" reopened a long position on INTC on the evening of July 17 (last Friday) Beijing time. He bought 25,000 shares in batches over about half an hour and is currently holding a 10x leveraged position with an average entry price of $94.57.

As of press time, INTC is up 5.95% on the day, temporarily trading at $100.96. The whale's position is worth approximately $2.524 million, with an unrealized profit of about $159,700, a return rate of 67.56%, and a liquidation price of $89.69.

During the previous market downturn, the "US Stock Trading King" had scaled down his large positions to focus on Micron Technology (MU). On the evening of July 8, he closed his previous 23,000 INTC long positions at an average price of $105.31, realizing a profit of approximately $920,300. After re-entering the market nine days later, the current position size is 2,000 shares larger than the previous round.

Currently, the whale continues to hold MU long positions worth approximately $3.3782 million, with an average entry price of $505.30 and an unrealized profit of about $1.4833 million. Additionally, he has taken smaller trial long positions in two other storage stocks: 250 shares of SanDisk (SNDK), valued at around $367,500 with an average price of $1,438.72 and an unrealized profit of approximately $7,821; and 240 shares of SK Hynix (SKHX), valued at about $300,600 with an average price of $1,412.39 and an unrealized loss of roughly $38,400.

Intel is scheduled to release its Q2 2026 financial results after the US market closes on July 23 (early morning of July 24 Beijing time). The company previously forecast quarterly revenue between $13.8 billion and $14.8 billion, with non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.20.
