Odaily Planet Daily News: The mediator of the Iran-U.S. negotiations has presented a proposal to Iran aimed at de-escalating the current situation. The proposal recommends a 10-day ceasefire to seek the resumption of the memorandum of understanding reached between Iran and the U.S. last month. Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Baghaei stated at a press conference that day that Iran has received the suggestions from the mediators of the U.S. and Iran talks, but declined to disclose specific details. He also said that the Iranian Interior Minister would visit Pakistan the same day to consult on matters related to both countries. (Xinhua News Agency)
