Pre-market US stock news digest: Memory sector continues to fall, SK Hynix drops over 7%; international gold and silver spot prices decline collectively

Odaily Planet Daily News: Before the US market opens, investors need to focus on the following market news:

1. US stock index futures are mixed. Dow Jones futures rose 0.06%, S&P 500 futures fell 0.37%, and Nasdaq 100 futures fell 0.99%.

2. International oil prices rose sharply. WTI crude oil futures rose 1.14% to $80.019 per barrel; Brent crude oil futures rose 1.10% to $85.884 per barrel. On the news front, Iran told Yemen's Houthi group to close the Bab el-Mandeb strait if the US attacks its electricity grid.

7. TSMC raised its full-year 2026 capital expenditure guidance to $60-64 billion, from the previous $52-56 billion, and expects A14 process chips to begin mass production in 2028.

8. Anthropic's underwriters have begun arranging meetings between the company's management and institutional investors in the coming weeks to prepare for its IPO roadshow. If plans proceed, Anthropic could go public as early as October this year.

9. In an exclusive interview, Warren Buffett said that Berkshire Hathaway's investment in Alphabet was led by him personally and stated that Apple remains one of his favorite stocks.

10. Citigroup added optical communication concept stock Lumentum to a 90-day "upside catalyst watch" list.
