Hayden Adams: Robinhood Chain’s Strong Start and Uniswap Chain’s Killer Move

As a major fintech company, Robinhood’s own chain features both Memes (which is undoubtedly a good sign for a new chain) and RWA (which is even more exciting and promising). Robinhood Chain has the potential to become a bridge connecting traditional asset tokenization and crypto-native assets.

Although the current bear market has dampened industry morale, entrepreneurial teams must always face different timing and luck and continue to move forward. When Uniswap first launched, the market was terrible, and no one believed Crypto had a future. In this cycle, there is at least adoption expectations. The existing businesses and assets still show a trend towards online and on-chain migration.

For entrepreneurs, the benefits of building your own chain are obvious. Assets can reach global users faster through crypto methods; otherwise, they face startup costs for infrastructure, policy regulation, market makers, etc.

Uniswap Chain often explains the operational principles of the crypto world to traditional financial clients, highlighting that the core appeal of the crypto method is the sufficiently low cost of global asset circulation. However, there is also a major obstacle: clients get very nervous upon hearing the term “Crypto.” Besides the lack of trust, they also have to contend with different protocols, standards, and ecosystems within the crypto space.

Uniswap’s advantage is the reputation it has built over the past few years, with the ultimate goal of becoming the global liquidity layer for on-chain assets. Uniswap is iteratively improving its infrastructure and ecosystem, version by version, while simultaneously working on 1,000 things—engaging with external partners, supporting more token issuances, and establishing more customized asset liquidity solutions... Specifically for this year, the focus will be on RWA.
