Token Pocket Chief Business Officer: Robinhood Founder's Seed Phrase Leaked During Livestream, Address Now Frozen

Odaily Planet Daily News Token Pocket Chief Business Officer Michael posted on platform X, stating that the Robinhood founder's seed phrase was leaked during his livestream. After hackers gained control of the address, they used it and associated addresses to heavily buy the Meme token $1, prompting thousands of investors to follow suit. Within a short time, they rapidly pushed the token's market cap from approximately $500,000 to $14 million.

Subsequently, the price of the $1 token dropped sharply, with two-hour trading volume reaching about $20 million. After the address was frozen, the hackers quickly moved to BNB Chain, using that address and its associated addresses to issue new tokens. They created trading hype through methods like wash trading, ultimately selling off the tokens to cash out.

Currently, Robinhood's RPC has frozen the address. The node does not allow transactions from this address to be packaged, so transfers, as well as any buying or selling, are impossible.
