This information was highly accurate, and the applicant passed the liveness verification. After sending email and SMS notifications, the user raised no objections following a 2-day review protection period and a subsequent 24-hour withdrawal protection period. Additionally, the IP address used for the application was located in the same region as the account's recent access IPs. Based on this multi-layered cross-verification, Gate made a judgment involving some doubt at that time.

Despite the initial communication missteps, Gate's support for the user has never ceased. Following the incident, a special task force was immediately formed, comprising teams from security, compliance, legal, and business departments, and a dedicated processing group was established with the user. Currently, the incident reconstruction, device security analysis, and real-time tracking of the fund trail have been completed. Gate has also assisted the user in filing a police report and provided complete documentation.

Simultaneously, Gate has engaged a professional legal team and mobilized business resources to actively communicate with Tether and related exchanges, working to freeze the involved funds.

Regarding security mechanisms, Gate reiterates: Gate consistently adheres to a multi-layered protection system, including multi-channel advance notifications, initial screening by the system's risk control, manual four-eyes review, and strict time-based protection. Liveness verification serves only as a supplementary measure, not the sole basis. The 10.x internal network IP addresses appearing in the logs are used for normal auditor operations.

The platform did not previously possess some of the sensitive information provided by the applicant. Security is an ongoing journey.
