Iranian military warns US against interfering in Hormuz Strait, otherwise it will face a devastating response

According to Odaily, the Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters of Iran's Supreme Joint Military Command stated on Wednesday that the Iranian armed forces will deliver a "devastating response" to the US military. This follows Iran's accusation that the US launched strikes against parts of southern Iran, calling them "blatant acts of aggression," and warning that Tehran will not allow the US to interfere in the management of the Strait of Hormuz. The command stated that the only safe passage for commercial vessels and oil tankers through the waterway is the route designated by Iran.

The US military launched a new round of strikes against Iran on Tuesday and, after three oil tankers were hit by projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz, revoked permits allowing Iran to export oil, further pressuring the already fragile ceasefire agreement.
