韩国股市在经历一周的人工智能市场波动后反弹

The Korean stock market rebounded after a week of volatility in the AI market. On Friday, the KOSPI index surged as much as 5.5%, with shares of Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix both rising over 9%. The Korea Exchange temporarily suspended program buying due to a sharp spike in KOSPI futures. Foreign funds and retail investors were net sellers of the index's stocks, while domestic funds increased their holdings.

Earlier reports indicated that Anthropic PBC is in talks with Samsung to collaborate on developing custom AI chips. Meanwhile, market expectations for Samsung's upcoming preliminary earnings report are also growing. Jung In-yun, CEO of Fibonacci Asset Management Global, said: "The partnership between Anthropic and Samsung is still in its early stages, so the near-term impact on earnings will be limited, but it is a positive signal strategically. This solidifies Samsung's position in the AI chip sector and underscores Asia's importance in the AI semiconductor supply chain." (Jin Shi)
