Iran Armed Forces: US Interference in the Strait of Hormuz Will Be Met with Retaliation

The statement said that the Strait of Hormuz is by no means a place for the US to act arbitrarily. The security and stability of this crucial waterway is a "red line" for the Iranian armed forces. The statement indicated that all oil tankers and commercial ships must follow the shipping routes designated by Iran to safely pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Any failure to comply with or deviation from the designated routes, or disregard for navigation regulations, will be met with a response from the Iranian armed forces and will endanger the safety of the violating vessel itself.
