Fed dot plot: 9 officials expect rate hikes in 2026

The Fed dot plot shows that among 19 officials, only 18 submitted their dot plot projections. Among the 18 officials, 1 official believes the cumulative rate hike should be 75 basis points for the remainder of 2026, 5 officials believe it should be 50 basis points, 3 officials believe it should be 25 basis points, 8 officials believe rates should remain unchanged, and 1 official believes the cumulative rate cut should be 25 basis points.
