Japanese and Korean stock indices opened higher, with South Korea's KOSPI index surging 5%

Odaily Planet Daily News: South Korea's KOSPI index opened on Monday, June 15, up 425.23 points, or 5.23%, at 8,548.85 points. Japan's Nikkei 225 index opened on Monday, June 15, up 858.13 points, or 1.30%, at 66,878.17 points.
Additionally, shares of SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics both rose over 6%.
