Securitize merger and listing enters voting phase, Benchmark sets target price at $16

2026-06-10 14:05

Benchmark maintained a Buy rating for Securitize, a tokenization infrastructure company, and set a target price of $16. The valuation is based on the company's projected revenue of $178 million for 2027. The SEC has approved the registration statement for the merger between Securitize and Cantor Equity Partners II. Shareholders are scheduled to vote on June 29. If the merger passes smoothly, the combined entity will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker SECZ.

The report states that Securitize possesses a differentiated advantage through its compliance license framework spanning the US and Europe. This includes registration in the US as a broker-dealer, alternative trading system, transfer agent, and fund service provider, as well as holding trading and settlement licenses under the DLT Pilot Regime in the European Union. Securitize currently manages approximately $3.4 billion in tokenized assets, with its specific market segment exceeding $30 billion in size. (The Block )
