SpaceX's initial public offering has seen investor demand surpass $250 billion, higher than the company's planned fundraising target of $75 billion, with an oversubscription rate of about three and a half to four times the intended offering size.
SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell and CFO Bret Johnsen attended a lunch meeting hosted by Morgan Stanley in Manhattan on Tuesday, meeting with approximately 300 institutional investors. During the roadshow, Elon Musk briefly participated in some Zoom investor meetings. Investor demand may still change before the IPO pricing, which is expected to take place on Thursday afternoon.
