According to Odaily, traders anticipate the US dollar will strengthen in the coming weeks, supported by ongoing uncertainties in US-Iran negotiations and an AI-driven rally in the US stock market. The dollar index gained last month as investors assess the difficulty of progress in US-Iran talks. The conflict has led to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, causing energy prices to surge and raising concerns that central banks worldwide, including the Federal Reserve, may need to raise interest rates to combat inflation. On Monday, the index rose another 0.4%. This followed reports that Iran would suspend information exchange with the US, citing Israel's expanded attacks on Lebanon. (Jin Shi)
