Analysts: Retail BTC Inflows to Binance Hit All-Time Low, Averaging Just 314 BTC Monthly
According to Odaily Planet Daily, analyst Darkfost posted on platform X that the average monthly volume of BTC deposited into Binance by retail investors (addresses holding less than 1 BTC) has dropped to an all-time low, currently at just 314 BTC. This indicator stood at approximately 1,800 BTC during the bear market phase of the current cycle and around 1,200 BTC during the first peak in March 2024. For comparison, the retail inflow peak in 2018 reached 5,400 BTC, and in 2021 it was 2,600 BTC. In January 2024, this figure was still around 1,000 BTC, representing a more than threefold decrease over two years. Darkfost pointed out that retail participation continues to decline as some investors may have exited the market or shifted to indirect holding methods such as spot Bitcoin ETFs.
