French Bitcoin treasury company Capital B increases holdings by 192 BTC, total holdings rise to 3,135 BTC
Odaily reports that the French-listed Bitcoin treasury company Capital B has announced an increase of 192 BTC, valued at approximately 13 million euros (about 15.2 million USD), with an average purchase price of around $78,948.
Following this increase, Capital B's total Bitcoin holdings have risen to 3,135 BTC. Previously, the company announced it had completed a $17.8 million financing round, with investors including Blockstream CEO Adam Back and Paris-based asset management firm TOBAM.
Data shows that Capital B is currently the second-largest Bitcoin treasury company in Europe, trailing only Germany's Bitcoin Group SE, which holds 3,605 BTC. Despite the company's continued pursuit of its Bitcoin treasury strategy, its stock price still fell approximately 2.4% after the announcement. (Cointelegraph)
