The Odaily Planet Daily reported that, according to estimates from Jefferies, the ongoing Samsung strike could impact approximately 3% of global memory chip production. Memory chip supply is already facing historically tight conditions. Any reduction in Samsung's output would increase demand for Micron's hardware, which is already surging due to the boom in AI infrastructure construction. Samsung's difficulties could also benefit SanDisk, a competitor in the NAND flash memory chip market. Micron's stock surged sharply on Wednesday, with its market capitalization surpassing the $900 billion mark for the first time. (Jin Shi)
