Odaily reported that Transit Finance announced a recent security incident due to a historical vulnerability in its old smart contract deployed on TRON, which had been deprecated in 2022. The vulnerability was exploited, affecting a small number of users. The team stated that after detecting the issue, they urgently completed the investigation, isolation, and remediation. Further audits and fixes were conducted on May 12. The currently active contract version was not affected, has been operating securely for over four years, and continues to undergo security audits and monitoring. Transit Finance stated that affected users will receive full compensation, with specific plans to be announced through official channels. The team also reminded users to beware of fake official messages and not to disclose private keys or seed phrases.
