Bitcoin treasury company Genius Group makes a $5 million strategic investment in digital bank Jewel Bank

The Nasdaq-listed bitcoin treasury company Genius Group has disclosed a strategic investment of $5 million in digital bank Jewel Bank, acquiring a 9.9% stake in the company. Jewel Bank is developing the USD stablecoin JUSD, which will be backed 1:1 by cash and U.S. Treasury reserves, with a target launch in the second half of 2026. It will also introduce a real-time settlement system and white-label banking and stablecoin infrastructure services for enterprises. Following this investment, Genius Group will also enter the regulated digital banking and stablecoin issuance sector. (Globenewswire)
