Wasabi protocol attacker has deposited all stolen funds into Tornado Cash
According to on-chain analyst Specter's monitoring, the Wasabi protocol attacker has deposited all stolen funds into Tornado Cash, transferring approximately $5.9 million into Tornado Cash. Additionally, North Korean hacker groups have also used Tornado Cash to launder stolen funds from KelpDAO and LayerZero. They first cross-chain the assets to Bitcoin, then route them through Wasabi Mixer, withdraw and cross-chain back to Ethereum, deposit into Tornado Cash, then withdraw to new wallets and disperse them across multiple addresses. Subsequently, the new wallets deploy tokens, use the stolen funds to buy, then remove liquidity from the deployment wallet, cross-chain to Tron (USDT), hold for several hours or days, and finally send them to OTC-related wallets.
