Gold rises to $4,565, volatility declines, crude oil retreats
According to the latest data from Gate, the price of gold has risen to $4,565.28 per ounce, with a daily increase of 0.47%. The price of silver has risen to $72.165 per ounce, with a daily increase of 1.24%.
The BVIX (BTC Volatility Index) is currently quoted at 41.40, down 1.43% intraday. The EVIX (ETH Volatility Index) is currently quoted at 59.04, up 0.92% intraday.
In the forex market, the USD/CNH pair fell 0.05% intraday to 6.84272. The USD/JPY pair fell 0.18% intraday to 160.142.
Regarding global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 (EUSTX50) fell 0.75% intraday to 5,789.75 points; the UK FTSE 100 (UK100) rose 0.14% intraday to 10,210.64 points; the German DAX 40 (GER40) rose 0.24% intraday to 23,894.85 points.
In commodities, WTI crude oil fell 1.29% intraday to $109.39 per barrel. Brent crude oil fell 0.78% intraday to $116.85 per barrel.
