According to Odaily Planet Daily, data from Gate shows that WTI crude oil surged 6.00% during the day, hitting a new high since April 8 and is now at 107.49 USD per barrel. Earlier, data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) showed that the amount of crude oil withdrawn from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) in the latest week rose to its highest level since October 2022.
