Pakistan Prime Minister: Iran to respond on prospects of Iran-US talks after leadership consultations

Odaily Planet Daily News: Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has assured him that Iran will provide a response on the prospects of Iran-US talks after consultations with its leadership. At a cabinet meeting on the same day, Shehbaz said that Araghchi led a delegation to visit Pakistan last week and held comprehensive talks with the Pakistani side. "Before leaving, he (Araghchi) assured me that he would reply to me after consulting with the Iranian leadership." Shehbaz also noted that the ceasefire between Iran and the US, brokered through Pakistan's efforts, remains in effect. (CCTV News)
