Odaily Odaily Planet Daily News The U.S. CFTC is formulating regulatory rules for prediction markets. Hyperliquid Policy Center and Multicoin Capital have submitted a joint comment, supporting the inclusion of clear standards in the regulatory text to avoid policy reversals with changing administrations. They emphasize that prediction markets should be uniformly regulated by the CFTC at the federal level, rather than being classified as gambling by individual states. Furthermore, they recommend that the CFTC adopt an interpretation that determines whether a contract involves sensitive areas such as warfare or gambling based on the settlement subject. Additionally, they suggest the CFTC publicly disclose full reasoning when a contract review concludes, regardless of whether the contract is approved or denied.
