Odaily Odaily Planet Daily News Zama founder Rand announced on X platform that Zama has launched the Confidential RFQ (Request for Quote) protocol. It is currently in a private beta on the Ethereum mainnet, with a public release expected in September and multi-chain support to follow. Based on the ERC-7984 confidential token standard, the protocol uses sealed-bid auctions to allow professional market makers to compete to fill encrypted trades, keeping trade size, direction, and asset type hidden throughout the process. 100% of swap fees will be used to buy back and burn ZAMA tokens, with no front-end fees. Zama stated that current on-chain large transactions are still conducted through over-the-counter (OTC) trading or dark pools due to the need to avoid strategy exposure.
