Odaily, Swan Bitcoin CEO Cory Klippsten stated in an interview that Tether effectively controls Twenty One Capital, a publicly-listed Bitcoin reserve company it supports, and uses it as a tool to advance its political interests in the United States, though no evidence was provided to support this claim. Tether did not respond to requests for comment. Cory Klippsten also said that Strike founder Jack Mallers' role as CEO of Twenty One is merely nominal, with his primary responsibility being to promote the company's stock, and that Mallers' departure was not a personal decision.
