MoonPay launches Paybox, an AI shopping wallet built on the x402 protocol
Odaily Odaily reports that crypto payment platform MoonPay has announced the launch of its AI shopping wallet, Paybox, which supports integration with ChatGPT and Claude. This allows AI assistants to not only search for products and compare prices but also directly complete transactions such as payments, restaurant bookings, flight ticket purchases, and Amazon shopping.
It is understood that Paybox requires no coding or additional software installation. Users can top up the wallet via bank accounts or crypto assets, and can set risk control rules such as spending limits and payment confirmations. MoonPay stated that Paybox is built on the open protocol x402, adopting a decentralized design that is not dependent on platform permissions and can support any compatible merchant and service.
