FLEOA Supports CLARITY Act, Calls for Adjustments to DeFi Accountability Provisions

Odaily reported on July 10 that the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA) sent a letter to the U.S. Senate Banking Committee expressing support for the CLARITY Act. At the same time, it called for amendments to strengthen accountability in decentralized finance (DeFi) while preserving the existing powers of investigators. The bill has previously received support from the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, marking the second public endorsement from a major U.S. law enforcement organization.
