Cumberland has obtained the Major Payment Institution (MPI) license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), allowing it to provide digital payment token and cross-border money transfer services.

Odaily reported that Cumberland, a crypto trading and liquidity services provider, announced on platform X that its Singapore subsidiary, Cumberland SG Pte. Ltd., has been granted a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). The license authorizes the company to offer Digital Payment Token (DPT) services and cross-border money transfer services.
