Federal Reserve Chair Warsh may face decision on whether to reverse last year's rate cuts

Odaily reported that "Fed whisperer" Nick Timiraos stated that last month, Warsh presided over his first meeting as Federal Reserve Chair, during which the Fed unanimously decided to keep interest rates unchanged. In the coming weeks, as some Fed officials grow increasingly concerned about inflation, they may push for discussions on rate hikes at the July 28-29 meeting. This week, Warsh will testify before Congress and will have access to the June inflation data.
