Prime Minister Takaichi stated that, first and foremost, she extends her heartfelt congratulations on the successful opening of the WebX 2026 conference. Web3, as the next-generation internet ecosystem built on blockchain technology, is seeing the steady advancement of its social implementation, attracting participants from around the world. I understand that this year's Web conference has attracted approximately 15,000 participants, making it the largest Web3 event in Asia. With the active participation of numerous startups and the organization of various matching events with investors, it holds immense significance as a platform for promoting business collaboration and connection.

The new Takaichi Cabinet places great importance on fostering startups. This past May, we launched the "Comprehensive Policy Package for Startup Promotion," aimed at strengthening the "Five-Year Startup Development Plan."
