NVIDIA's previous "Plan A" was based on TSMC's COUPE co-packaged optics platform, utilizing 8-wavelength DWDM and approximately 50-64G NRZ modulation technology. The latest "Plan B" shifts to Tower Semiconductor's silicon photonics platform, adopting 16-wavelength DWDM along with 200G/400G PAM4 modulation solutions.
