Data from commercial shipping tracking cited by Iranian authorities showed that only 11 commercial vessels passed through the Strait of Hormuz in the past 24 hours, including 8 oil tankers and 3 cargo ships.

In the early hours of local time on the 12th, the Navy of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps of Iran issued a statement saying it had fired warning shots at a vessel inside the Strait of Hormuz.
