Odaily reported that there are rumors Tencent is in talks to become the largest shareholder of Manus, a general AI Agent company. According to the news, a Chinese capital consortium led by Tencent plans to repurchase all of Manus' equity from Meta at a valuation of approximately US$2 billion. A journalist reached out to Tencent for confirmation, but as of press time, Tencent had not responded.
