IMF Lowers World Economic Growth Forecast, Raises China Growth Forecast

Odaily reported that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) released an update to its World Economic Outlook report on the 8th, lowering the global economic growth forecast for 2026 by 0.1 percentage point to 3%, while raising China's economic growth forecast by 0.2 percentage point to 4.6%. The report also lowered its growth forecast for advanced economies by 0.1 percentage point to 1.7%, and for emerging market and developing economies by 0.1 percentage point to 3.8%.
