Iranian lawmaker: The US must recognize Iran's regime over the Strait of Hormuz

According to official media reports, Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, made these remarks on social media, commenting on what the Revolutionary Guard described as a "preliminary response" to US acts of aggression. He said: "There is no other way: Iran's new regime over the Strait of Hormuz must be recognized."
