Du Jun Unveils Details of Metagent Investment, Stating the Team Failed to Provide Complete Financial and Operational Information

Odaily reported that Du Jun, co-founder of ABCDE Capital, further disclosed investment details in a post on X, stating that in February 2024, an initial investment of $500,000 was made to Metagent, founded by Li Bojie. The subsequent $1 million investment would be decided based on project progress and agreed-upon conditions. Du Jun noted that the Demo presented by the Metagent team in June 2024 fell short of expectations, and combined with project progress, communication status, and feedback from other investment institutions, concerns arose regarding the team's execution capability. He also mentioned that starting from July 2024, Li Bojie essentially stopped responding to investor communications. In December of the same year, Li Bojie emailed to state that he had left Metagent and that the company lacked funds, but the team never provided investors with complete financial statements and operational information.
