Gold and silver decline, crypto volatility retreats. According to the latest data from Gate, the price of gold has fallen to $4,145.99 per ounce, down 0.48% on the day. Silver prices fell to $61.454 per ounce, down 0.18% on the day.
The BVIX (BTC Volatility Index) is currently quoted at 39.85, down 1.14% on the day. The EVIX (ETH Volatility Index) is currently quoted at 53.89, down 0.04% on the day.
In the forex market, the USD/CNH exchange rate rose 0.01% on the day to 6.79483. The USD/JPY exchange rate rose 0.04% on the day to 162.131.
Regarding global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 Index (EUSTX50) fell 0.09% on the day to 6,397.2 points; the UK FTSE 100 Index (UK100) was unchanged on the day at 10,659.2 points; the German DAX 40 Index (GER40) fell 0.04% on the day to 25,788.2 points.
In commodities, WTI crude oil rose 0.25% on the day to $69.17 per barrel. Brent crude oil rose 0.22% on the day to $72.47 per barrel.
