ENS DAO Proposes Delegating 5 Million ENS to Multiple Stakeholders to Reshape Governance Structure
Odaily Planet Daily News ENS community member AvsA has proposed a draft, suggesting that approximately 5 million ENS tokens held by the DAO be allocated to various governance stakeholders through a multi-delegation contract. This aims to alleviate the current issue of voting power being highly concentrated in the hands of a few delegates. The proposal intends to transfer tokens from the DAO treasury and select candidates among stakeholders based on preset criteria, including users, integrators, developers, traditional domain name service providers, and the governance community. Each category would receive an equal delegation of approximately 1 million ENS tokens. Delegates will only possess voting rights and will not have the authority to dispose of the tokens. If a delegate fails to vote for six consecutive months, the delegated tokens will be reclaimed and redistributed.
