Odaily Planet Daily News: On July 2, 2026, the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission included GIGX Technologies and Kucoin Nigeria Limited in its Accelerated Regulatory Incubation Program (ARIP) and granted them Approval in Principle (AIP). This approval allows the two companies to operate temporarily under SEC supervision and proceed towards full registration. The SEC stated that the ARIP currently oversees a total of nine digital asset companies, and that an Approval in Principle does not equate to full legalization or comprehensive authorization for all crypto platforms within Nigeria (Bitcoin.com News).
