Odaily reported that SpaceX is exploring larger-scale phone and mobile communication services. Some investors have already seen a prototype device resembling a phone, which has a thinner body than an iPhone and runs a self-developed operating system.
According to reports, during SpaceX's preparations for its IPO, company President Gwynne Shotwell discussed the possibility of building a terrestrial network to provide mobile services and considered collaborating with carriers. Starlink has already partnered with T-Mobile and others to offer mobile connectivity in remote areas.
