Iranian Parliament Speaker: Strait of Hormuz should be jointly managed by Iran and Oman

Odaily reported that Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stated on the same day that the Strait of Hormuz should be jointly managed by Iran and Oman. Qalibaf made these remarks during a meeting with Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi. When discussing the management of the Strait of Hormuz, Qalibaf noted that a memorandum of understanding recently signed with the United States has stipulated that the Strait of Hormuz should be jointly managed by Iran and Oman.
