Meta Chief AI Officer Responds to Market Misunderstanding: Zuckerberg’s Comments on Slower AI Agent Development Were Not Specifically About Meta
Odaily Odaily reports that in response to media disclosures that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg told employees in an internal meeting that AI agent development over the past four months had not "accelerated at the pace we expected," Meta Chief AI Officer Alexander Wang issued a statement to clarify. He explained that Zuckerberg was referring to the overall progress of the entire industry in intelligent agent capabilities, not Meta itself. He also revealed that Meta will soon release a new round of Muse Spark updates, which will significantly enhance the model’s programming capabilities and intelligent agent capabilities, making it more competitive against leading industry models. These updates will be gradually rolled out to Meta AI and a new API platform.
